Mohamed, moonlighting from the Ministry of the Economy, took us to several places surrounding Sana'a, including Wadi Dhahr, Thula, Kawkaban, Habbah and Shibam. In the last Eid holiday I spent a few days in Yemen. Here are some shots from the capital city Sana'a. All the city-scape shots were taken from the roof of the hotel. Eid wasn't an ideal time to go as most of the markets were closed, but then all the Yemenis were dressed to visit family & friends (and all the boys carried toy guns).
