All Eyes on Abu Dhabi

Went to the award ceremony for the 2009/10 Office of the Brand of Abu Dhabi photography competition. It was held at the OTT Emirates Palace Hotel (where one of their Valentine's Day packages is a mere 28 grand. Per night.) and had a Cirque du Soleil-style quartet to serenade the canapes. This shot got 2nd prize... ... and this one appears in the coffee-table book: The other winning entries can be seen here.

Winnipeg

No frozen horse cadavers but lots of icy roads. Still getting over the jet-lag but this sums up some of the travel. Will post something better when I wake up fully. On a side note, just found out that I've been posting the wrong email address since ... forever. Fixed it.
